A Letter to our Colleagues and Friends: Transition of Care
November 3, 2022
Dear Valued Colleagues and Friends,
For those of you who may not have heard, we are writing to inform you that our surgeon, Dr. Bryce Williams, passed away on October 25th. Outside of his family, the wellbeing of his patients in our practice was a top priority, and his relationship with all of you was something he treasured. He was honored to have you trust us with your patients, team members, and even family members. He valued the relationships he had with each of you and the community over the past 5 years. We are so grateful for all the fun we had together, the memories we all made, and we take pride in the patient care we provided with him for the past 5 years.
Since 2017 Bryce was grateful that he was able to treat your patients and he would want you to know that the care of your patients continues to be of utmost importance to the team here at our office. We are in the process of having a new oral surgeon join our team, and we are confident we will find a successor with the same level of integrity and care that Bryce maintained in our practice. Dr. Austin Ivey will be starting to see patients in our office on Monday, November 7th, on an interim basis. He is available to see patients on Mondays and Thursdays, so we will be scheduling accordingly. He was a friend of Dr. Williams, and shares many of the same qualities.
If you would like to talk to Dr. Ivey, or meet him in person, please reach out to our office as soon as possible. We are more than willing to coordinate this for you.
We appreciate your patience during this process and in this difficult time, and we are so thankful for the trust you have in our team. The kindness you have all shown over the past week has been humbling. Your messages on social media, voicemails, flowers/cards, meals, and texts have all been received and have been helping us through each day.
With Warmest Regards,
The Team at Williams Dental Implant & Oral Surgery
Christina, Stacie, Amber, Gloria, Alyssa, Kathy, Victoria, and Taylor
